I have run into a fair number of people in their 60's and 70's who are going through what I call "the motions of living". They get up every day and engage in the mundane, every day rituals of living: eating, errands, tasks around the house, food preparation, occasional nights out with a friend or friends, TV in evening, etc. These daily habits and rituals can be deadening.......... Are they for you?
It is actually hard or almost impossible, in my view, to really feel ALIVE when one is engaged in old ways of thinking, old habits, old versions of the Self. Habits by their very nature are something one engages in without thought, without awareness.
